Hiya! Nice and simple scene so you should get a lot out of it, it is all going to be about the atmosphere in this piece though. looking forward to see the blockout and implementation of atmosphere. Which programs are you going to use? Good luck!
What do you mean with a demo? Like a showreel or just a scene? this seems more like a scene than an actual demo. Blockout is coming along nicely though. Which programs are you going to be using for this? Keep it up
No. It's a valid criticism. The head looks ridiculous. Not even anorexics have such a gaunt/skull-like face. And you shouldn't call it a blockout now, when first you said "trying to finalize" which indicated you're in the final stages of sculpting.
When you hold down the middle mouse button and drag, a ruler will appear so you can measure sizes. Level blockout can be done with bsp brushes or placeholder meshes too. Both works.
Not much to show this week. spent most of the time creating lightmaps, tweaking lighting and getting base materials on assets. Next week il probably continue with the lightmapping and hopefully get rid of those blockout dryers :)
Hmmm, I'm really not enjoying this on 360. Looks like absolute shite, and the level is so open.. There's barely any cover anywhere lol. It feels like the level is still in blockout. Gonna have to compare it to PC!
Still working on the scene blockout, the other pictures at the artists artstation website are very helpful to get the scale and general shapes in the right way: The sizes aren't 100% right yet, but I think it's a good start.
Great work so far, blockout looks really good! I don't really have anything to crit at the moment, key-frames and poses looks good, it'll be really interesting to see the final result :)
Hey there! It's been a long time since our last update, we're in a little crunch right now, but will do our best to catch up in the upcoming weeks. Here's a litl update - basic blockout in UE.
Few weeks passed since my last update, I've managed to finish the blockout and now I'm resculpting all my drafts (arc is the first in list). Lots of draft meshes, lightmap seams and intersections.
