@Luken -The proportions seem a little off. Yes, I meant the the cut off can used as muzzle. I decided to put thinkness and make it so the pipe that goes through can be seen. Thanks for the info though.
Cool character, the textures are looking nice! The only thing thats really throwing me off with this are the arms. It looks like his forearms are bending off at a weird angle, and the upper arm looks very short in proportion.

it's just to show where the uv seams are. I always turn it off since i find it pretty useless in most situations. You can turn it off in teh command panel.. show uv seams or something

Edged faces on selection, and Bounding boxes OFF. That it's the default is mystifying. Just set a maxstart, and you'll never need to see them again, unless you work with someone who doesn't turn them off. Hurrr.
The way I look at it is, you need to have a good eye for anatomy, scale and proportions. You need to be able to tell whether a model looks a little off due to it's structure. Maybe I'm way off though.
