I haven't seen a thread about this and wanted to get a discussion going about the recent release of MODO Steam Edition by The Foundary. Trailer: http://store.steampowered.com/video/244290/2030421 Product: http://store.steampowered.com/app/244290/ What do we thing, it looks cool to me. I'm considering getting it. I've used…
Get ready to weep. It's bad news either way. In Steam, go to PROFILE> Edit Profile. Create a custom URL in this menu. Save. Grab JUST WHAT YOU ADDED to the URL. Paste it in here > http://lambentstew.com/webblog/miniproject/steamanalysis/steam_time and you'll get your steam stats. Percentage of titles played, for how long,…
I'm wondering what the idea behind allowing 'concepts' to be shown and what 'Getting on Steam', means. Can I show a concept of a game, get on Steam, and ask for early adopters via payment? Like Minecraft's approach only through Steam?
I was able to sell some stuff i picked up from my early dota days and spent the cash on this software (since it was "steam credit" essentially). Its been years since i've done 3D art, but back in day I spent a lot of time using Lightwave 3D. MODO seems to be streamlined for use with Dota2, so it seemed like a decent idea…
Hey! Even though you have a ton

I think there is a serious need for some sort of distribution/publishing solution. I like Steam, and I think it is a great step towards a new way of thinking about selling PC Games, but I think the answer to "save" PC Gaming is going to be a little more unorthodox. PC Games are a far different beast than their console…
I'm pretty sure that everyone who has a Steam account has at least one copy of HL2. A good proportion of Steam users probably also have a spare gift copy. If you can find someone who doesn't have HL2 on Steam yet, you probably get a prize... maybe the prize is a copy of HL2...
