The settings I generally used it for (eg, selecting the gpu to use etc.) are handled properly by windows now but the control panel does appear to still be present on win11 - perhaps they got pushback and left it there or perhaps i misread something. I'm probably not on latest but im likely on the one before that
Hello, This kind of question cannot be replied in generic terms, as there are many more factors involved than one may candidly assume. - First off for the case of the above screenshot, your best bet is to research whatever game this is from specifically : check if there is some sort of debug mode available to inspect the…

The barrel also seems to use an emissive texture (not listed)? If so, I would suggest baking some reddish-orange emissive lighting onto the inner barrel. And the burning ends of the wood planks should have an appropriate wood effect, not simply reusing the charcoal emissive. The rust & damage on the fridge seem randomly…
@fdfxd2 Thanks! For me I had old work on my website with a private link that I could quickly throw up onto the screen. Prop Artist positions are rare(r). I know Ubisoft and Cloud Imperium offers them quite often. Rebellion has offered Photogrammetry Artist positions in the past, and many roles at outsourcing studios will…
do more like the environment and less of just props alone. making an environment that has a feel/mood is significantly stronger than making an item. people aren't moved by props which means they aren't amazed. now, I am not saying the props are bad, they are ok but they are nothing compared to your environment. also, being…

I have a texture input and just want to use a section/part of that image as my base for the rest of texture work. Help would be much…
i forget the name of the feature but there's a specific volume shadowing option for hair cards that drops off quite early - there's also a lot of options in the settings for lights that affect when certain features lod out and of course there's the thousand config options you can fiddle with. that said - you're using lumen…
The farms, roads, and beaches are about 99.9% accurate at this point. What's left is detailing everything, creating additional props and foliage and filling the world out. Our modular houses and churches are beginning to be constructed and we're starting to prep to get our game launched on Steam Greenlight in the coming…
I guess you said in your initial post that you wanted to start working with the props first..but I still feel like you might be jumping the gun a bit by jumping straight into the nitty gritty stuff. I would suggest roughing out the environment and laying things out before you jump into creating assets for it. Get a feel…
