I'm going back to another piece I started a while back to finish it off, I'm going to finish off getting the basic shape down before getting into the greebles again. Background info - this is intended to be a blend of 2 suits from Zeta Gundam / Stardust Memory: the Hizack and the GM Quel; the idea being to make a more…
Been holding off making one for too long. Since it's my first, I'm sure you can spot a million things wrong with it. However, all the modeling, rigging and dynamics were done by me. I recommend watching the youtube vid on Firefox; the audio sync is off when played on Chrome for some reason. https://youtu.be/V6wnxYLaMEQ
go to brush , samples, spotlight projection and turn it off ( if you have spoltlight turned.on ) I put all my reference on spotlight and then toggle off spoltlight projection maybe you pressed z by mistake?

Why do they turn on annoying features like that by default ? Better to leave them off so that no one gets comfused, and then noobs can turn them on when they want to show off ... CS3 forever
I couldn't find anything simple to work off, only a few images I grabbed off page 1 on Google Images. The one with the heavy bolter I used the poses in the top right.
Wouldn't showing off assets from a canceled game cast doubt on a person's ability to honor an NDA? Would a company want to hire someone that might show off secret work to other studios?
your sculpt is off in comparison I did recognize the concept. I don't think the angle and background does it any justice. and the feet are a bit cut off.. I wish the image was bigger too.
You should really show off a block out, even with these temp blockers. It feels like you're just cluttering up your thread to show off any little thing you make.
i'd almost be inclined to go off viewport grabs for this sort of thing turn off texture filtering in the viewporta and Bob's your uncle basically. the simpler lighting setup will probably work to your advantage.
