Hi guys, I'm here to show my progress to remaking the entire set idea. Now I know, that set is a poor work. This is the old set. For now, are head and shoulder 95% finished. This set will have 3 versions, only changing the ultimate effect. This are the new Images:
For those of you still interested in Megatexturing, here's an interview featuring two of our programmers and a bunch of nice screenshots from ETQW's Megatexturing system. It covers a lot of the more technical benefits and issues of using Megatexturing. Quite an interesting read, I thought!…
Hey everyone, Could I please get feedback on this tumbling Animation with ED-405? i left the motion trail on the lower body showing to reveal the curve. I feel like the body hangs unnecessarily from frames 92-95. https://syncsketch.com/sketch/203302#281807 Thanks, Cameron
hey guys, all last year I was working on a indie game called Outpost Kaloki . I did 95% percent of all the artwork. I saw this little blurb in gamasutra today and got all stoked. gamasutra blurb Im glad people recognize it. Any ways Im feeling proud and I wanted to share.
Most character artists that can do props just put it on the resume and leave it out of the portfolio. Or you could put all the props in one "collection of props" image. The focus should be 95% Character art, you don't want to seem unfocused or indecisive.
In the Materials tab, in color mode. I have a very tough, to near impossible time trying to select a color section and have it actually select the correct selection. 95% of the time it only changes the background and the other 5% it selects some other selection set.
chiniara: thanks! Yeah, as soon as I have more free time there will be more streaming and tutorials, i promise! RailbladerX: thanks! Yeah, its a shader. I use shaders 90-95% of the time I would say, and base my textures from that : )
Prelim results are about 95% positive! I'm still seeing some areas on a compound curve boolean mesh where there's some vert pinching in the remeshed version...I'm attempting to see if it's an issue with the input geo, or or something I can fix on my own.
""I'm downloading the demo of Redshift, I'll see what the shader offers!"" i could send you the part about rendering in redshift that i did for my gnomon video could be a good start .. i managed to get close to 90/95 % christophe
Thanks guys :) @fearian 95% of the work is done in Marvelous Designer. I use Zbrush mostly for micro tweaking and decimating the mesh down to more manageable poly levels. I use soft selection in Max to deform the MD results to fit in the shapes on the ship.
