Yup, the tool is the 3d model so always save the tool. Saving the document is more of an enhanced screenshot. Good for 2/2.5d art and people who are using zbrush to create such paintings, not so useful for someone who is using it to sculpt.
Just to make sure the model doesn't end up as a strictly 2.5D space, I'm gonna add some more polys to make sure it looks good all-around, if no one minds. :P As always, hit me with your critques.
well here are the 1st screens...... http://kotaku.com/5486974/first-lara-croft-and-the-guardian-of-light-screens-details/gallery/ looking like a 2.5d shooter of sorts. really looks like a downloadable title, guess they are not aiming for the uncharted fans :P
I'm working on a 80s B-movie/Miami Vice inspired character for a 2.5D platformer shooter. The hires sculpt is 95% done but i'm having trouble with the fabric creases and hair, the face and might need some revision as well. Any constructive criticism or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hey all, I am doing some 2.5d work to create tileable textures. When I switch to 'Render > Best' ZBrush becomes unusable/buggy, I can't interact with any buttons or functions. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Zapplink was easier and this never happened.. I'll try MRGB(never tried). @Shuaws: I do use xNormal as well, but I made this tilable texture in Zbrush(2.5D) so cannot export it as a Hirez mesh,. thats why cant use xNormal in this case.
hmm, by the way, is there a script or plugin which switches off all the 2.5D tools and maybe a script for photoshop commands (i really hate to use a submenu for changing the size of the brush)? I heard that ZBrush has a very flexible and easy to edit UI...
It's lost to 2.5D, although your earlier save should still be there, saved as a .ZTL. RTFM is the best advice I can give you, because Zbrush is a bit of a weird beast when it comes to UI and any standard conventions you might be used to.
No. Why would you expect Blender to deal with millions of polys as well as Zbrush? Zbrush was built with a specific purpose of utilising millions of vertices in a 2.5D canvas environment, at a time when 32bit systems with 2 cores and 2 gigs of ram were the norm. There can be no comparison.
i have a question again~~ is possible to lock camera and set camera position , rotation just like other 3d app? i'm a game artist .. sometimes i need to create 2.5D game pictures..so , if i can set camera in VoidWorld that will be wonderful..
