tic toc tic toc, the clock is out on my trial. Guess I'll have to find out myself if there is really an upgrade path. As no one seems to know for sure ( maybe the email is stuck online somewhere? ) Done and done. nope. ptooey and hogwash. After ordering the personal license I still see no upgrade path. I think the mix up…
nope. Here's a hint and a qoute. Its a video game movie "If I was going to kill you, I'd have done it when you walked to your car this morning and been gone by the time your body hit the sidewalk. But right now all you can this about is your family. And this is making you desperate. Desperate men do stupid things. Without…
I underestimated how long the beads would take. Almost there though. Just some more on the satchel, and the only thing left I don't already have a base for is the daggers bone handle. One more day, then I'll make a few touch ups and be done. Note: Shouldn't have bothered spending all that time in Zbrush making beads. Much…
Guys! Why didn't anyone tell me that this hand painting business is so frikken hard! lol I had to redo the face so many times till I found the right technique to use, and the right skin tone. Funny thing is I spent most of my time on the legs, but I still can't get it right for some reason >.< The face isn't quite finished…

These kinds of tools are certainly representative of the direction that the industry is moving in - this is evidenced by the adoption of these and similar tools by studios across the world, my own included. I'll go into why further along in this post. Well, it depends on how you define efficient.…

Corners are preserved in the conversion to curves by being marked with a Boolean x Point attribute so they get temporarily split. You may need to tweak the Corner Angle…
Equinoxx: - Thanks - seems like it works for bones only, but it removes half of the manual work --> have to redo constrained objects manually... (maybe it can't be done properly without scripting...) pogonip: yep. Shoulder is always a problem - currently there is one automaticly working blend bone (shoulder/biceps) and 3…
Some tips: Only use the tool in "replace" or "smooth" mode. Subtracting weights doesn't work well, since it doesn't know where to assign the remainder. Sometimes smooth assigns a tiny bit of weight to every joint. I can't remember if Maya has a prune weights tool yet or not, but I wrote one a long time ago. Either have an…
I know there is a difference in the distortion of the zbrush "camera" to real life lens, but the proportions of the head need to be fixed in order to go on to the other details.the cheeks need to go in, and the cheekbones and jaw bones a bit to the outside If you also look at the head from Your side view, the back side of…
