Issue #2 I can't figure out how to use the "move tool" people are using to move(shape) the face of the model around for shaping ( not transforming/moving tool ).
Probably because the Reflection vector is in World Space in UE4 now by default and you need to convert it. Try to use a transform node just after your reflexion vector.
I don't think I've ran into that particular problem but similar things. I'd try combining the object with a new sphere then delete the sphere and delete history and freeze transformations.
I thought Navigation in Zbrush was easier with a tablet?!?!? Never tried it though, I just got use to using It with a mouse, Local Transformations Saved me from raging
Did a bit more noodling on figuring the gauntlets out. I think I'll go with a chunkier Transformers like gauntlet that plays video games! Like Astro Teemo :)
Click on the transform menu, and make sure 'Collapse Points When Snapping' is toggled on. Be sure to only translate one axis though, or it will collapse them all to a single point
