yea the reason i asked cause I seen vids of people modeling in modo. Not sure if they made the scripts themselves, but whenever they press a button. It does, lets say something in another program it would take couple steps. In modo, it took only 1 step. If you knwo what i mean
Nice start on the walk! It looks like the spacing at the start, where he steps with his right foot, isn't the same as when he steps with his left foot. Also be sure to track the arc of the spear. Any movement in the spear will be amplified a lot by slight gestures in the character. Think of the spear's weight and balance.
Hi! Good start, but I think a 1024*1024 map can hold a LOT more detail. Take a look around at b1ll's website, he has some great step by step mini-tutorials how to put a lot more detail to a fairly low-res map. Keep it up! Rota
[ QUOTE ] I have a longer progress pic for the face if u are interested. [/ QUOTE ] Come on b1ll... You can't resist givng us your step by step work... The little guy and the big soldier looks great. Make him very russian looking in the texture. Oh and I completly agree with Adombrome
You mostly want the outlines combined with the texture, not flat cell shading / a stepped gradient. The simplest way to do it would just be an outline in Photoshop to be honest, you'd have to add internal lines were needed, though. One more thing, check this dude out! He's a freakin' wizard when it comes to anatomy and human figure sculpting. He's got tons of material and lessons that are well worth the time watching. He touches on everything from muscle anatomy to a step by step way to sculpting faces. https://www.youtube.com/user/rkingslien
Absolutely inspirationally good! Thank-you for sharing this. How do you get the textures for you bushes? I had to make some last year and I couldn't find any decent images to get the texture from. Could you do a step by step for them? <3 Keep up the good work!
I learn alot by seeing other peoples results and how they approach things. If someone has the time, could you please paint me a quick torso that i can tear apart and look at? And itd be great if you could do a quick step by step thing along with it, like that one wood tutorial.
Having a go at an other Rock Davinci Concept. Did a scifi crossbow last year. On my blog I plan to go through step by step on how I make the concept into a game asset. Its to teach those that seek it but to also show others how I work and for it to be assessed too. I have just started the hard surface stuff. Fun Fun Fun…
Hi everyone! I appreciate you guys looking at my thread, but I forgot how to render a 72 frame, short clip in Maya 2008 (pretty much a camera fly through). And I was hoping anyone can guide me threw it step by step, I know this is on a short notice but I have to get it done before Wednesday :X Thanks
