Looks good, but to me, it still looks like the character could barely hold his robotic arm despite all its extra help he's getting from his tools. And I agree on the skin too. -

For others it means human like in appearance also. So if i want to make lets say a Leprechaun sized Robot is that humanoid? or not -

Regarding filling in the gaps, I feel like a couple things were misinterpreted. The half moon discs at the base read more as deltoids of the shoulders than part of the torso of the robot. Head is looking might fine though. -

I'd agree that the guy in the hallway is the most awkward animation in your reel. I can't put my finger on it, but he moves robotic and puppeteer...ish. It's certainly subtle, that's for sure. Other than that it looks pretty solid. -

Both models are very, very straight. Even someone standing up straight has an S-curve to their back and with the arms slightly bent. Even for the robot. The concept art shows curvature, which is completely lost in the model. -

it gets worse gentlemen Ive been playing plants versus zombies today, apparently they have mechs as well! this is really causing a issue in our plan for survival now that they have access to our giant robot technology
