Is it possible to import my 3dsmax 2012 keybinds to 3dsmax 2014? I have hundreds of keybind changes and really don't want to take 10 or so hours copying my keybinds note by note. So naturally you'd go to Customize User Interface and click "Load..." but it would seem max 2014 uses .kbdx files for this while max 2012 creates…

Hey walter, the viewing app you showed me works well. I can complain though, the interface is not to my liking; I would prefer it having a standard in window rendering like any other application, instead of this weird full screen windows 8 inefficient viewing style. Hard to explain, but thanks!
Maybe post in the the blender forum? I've signe up. I've recently started using it again, gotta say it's come a looong way since I was last playing with it back in '06. The new 2.8 interface, with left-click feelds a lot more natural, and the new UI in general feels much more intuitive.
only 1600x900 resolution for a 24"? I would expect atleast 1920x1080. After getting used to working on a 26" at work, I've fallen in love with 1080p or higher for working, the clunky interfaces just doesn't fill anything! Thats why I love what Apple are doing with their retina displays, boosting dat resolution!
exactly. I was kinda reluctant to switch to vista. But you can easily switch to a more classic windows interface and if you have a 64bits machine and a decent amount of ram then taking full advantage out of it really makes a difference. My work machine runs both maya and turtle in 64bits and the performances are quite…
Okay I've got my first complete successful bake, fucking rad. Thanks a lot for your help EQ! I've posted my normal map settings from maya as well if anyone is new to that interface or hasn't used this tool in a long time and has completely forgotten what settings to use, such as myself.
So does this potentially mean there could be universal scripts, or would the python still be calling functions and stuff unique to each software? Hmm come to think of it, I wonder exactly how the python interfaces with each software. Time to do some learning, I guess. This really opens up some awesome possibilities.:)
i enjoyed this far more than the similar (albeit better styled) Ragdoll Kung-Fu game on Steam. that game's mouse-only interface just feels wonky and disconnected... this game could use more variation in the presentation and dynamics, but i think the basic gameplay is a lot of noodley fun. thanks for the heads up.
been quite a few updates since I last posted and I have kind of neglected this thread. Here are a few more videos from our blog showing our customization interface: http://www.vimeo.com/448510 and showing another track and a little bit of driving (still very basic): http://www.vimeo.com/634940
