need maxscript help - get and set scene explorer docking
greeting, fellow polycounters, nobody wants to read long stories, so here it goes: part of my script shall hide everything that is not needed of the gui as long as a checkbutton is pressed. works like a charm, except for the scene explorer. I can set the position after exiting, but not the docking. Am I missing something?… -

well i think it looks great so far if your texturing is as good as your modeling it should end up as a nice scene, my only concern is the polygon usage, the polygon count is far too low for a cinematic scene, and a bit too high for game use. its actualy much closer to game detail level than a scene for prerendering or a… -

I wanted to use the Flippednormals lighting scene (has anyone used it??) to do a clay render of a character that has a lot of xgen descriptions.
