Hi! Did you create manual lightmap UVs? Doing so, you could add another loop in the flat area and then lightmap UV the whole opening as a straightened strip. You could probably ditch the bevel and let the baked lighting do the edge smoothing. The other way would be to simply increase lightmap resolution. Share the mesh if…

looks great so far man, my only crit is with the lighting setup, the light shining on her back and on the side of the other shots is blowing her out a bit, and is there a slight green hue to the light or something? maybe it's just the background. the tatoo looks really cool!
Like mentioned, studying/observation and practice is the key to improvement (I'll read "AAA" as "high quality"). Also asking for help if you're stuck, so good on you. I think the rough aesthetic is already there, but many elements look like guesswork or a bit random. One thing that stands out immediately is the wobbly…
This is a model I've been working on for a little bit. Started with a stock Lee Enfield which I have since finished, so now it is onto the full auto conversion. Interesting gun, with some interesting shapes (a lot of circles cut into circles), and has been a fairly good challenge to model honestly. There's a lot going on…
Hey Carlos, meant to get back to you but have been pretty busy. I think it's worth saying that critiquing is a bit tough because you're showing a ton of images. It might be nice to focus on one of your compositions (maybe the big open area) and maybe one room? For me, critiquing your lighting across 11 images is daunting.…

Hey out there, So I've been trying to replicate these wings for the final part of my project in UDK, and I keep running into walls. Here's the video for reference. The wings appear at roughly 12-13 seconds in. [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZ3tgQc_t78"]Xenogears FMV - Weltalls Transformation - 13/25 -…
Sorry if this sounds weird but I'll phrase it the best I can. As an artist, I'm obsessed with wanting to create art that is photorealistic. By photorealistic, I mean every pixel actually looks like it came from a photograph of the same source instead of it being "fake photorealistic". I hoard references I can find that can…
