7. when holding ctrl in maya and use the scale tool in one axis, all axis will transform except the selected axis, anything like that in max? -

Hmmm. It runs on my very old pc(e5500,HD5450). Just with 7 fps, doesnt matter how i set the graphics, but runs.I was surprised. -

I got it fixed. Don't know what the problem is but I went back from Windows 8 to Windows 7 and everything works fine now. -

Actually if you run the DX11 exe with a DX10 card in Vista or Windows 7 then it defaults to DX10 mode, so just without the tesselation on the aliens really.
