the wacom thing is that if you alttab while still hovering over the tablet, UDK will get stuck thinking all clicks are at like..0% pressure, and won't register any clicks. You have to alt tab BACK to photoshop, then click with the mouse (which is always 100%, I guess?) and then you can alttab back to UDK.
And now some tryouts with tablet.. Need to find some way to draw lines more accurately (anyone suggestions??) other approach: manga-inspired: Those above were some kind of "modeling-sheet" for this: Trying some thumbnails for robot-concept ..and choose this one: .. and finally.. my first low-poly-model: Sooo, this is were…
I wanted to be part of this forum/community, but each time I want to post anything the site collapses, my post never makes it and I can't even see the site or open any thread in my PC nor in my tablet but half an hour after. It's very discouraging, I'd be amazed if this post makes the exception.
Problem solved. Borrowed an Android tablet. If I went the iPad route, I'd have given myself plenty of time before the interview to set it all up and get accustomed to everything, but it does sound problem-prone. It's a shame because I'd like to pick one up, but keep getting put off by the storage system.

But it's convenient to be able to carry the iPad traveling and just a capacitive stylus (I guess Wacom is even making one now) or http://www.nomadbrush.com/ to paint with. Artrage on the iPad has gotten faster over the past few updates. I would like to try it on the iPad2.…

I solved it by opening the "Wacom Tablet Preference File Utility" and removing all of my saved preferences and doing a full manual uninstall and reinstall of the Wacom drivers. Doing that somehow jostled something loose that was broken and now it all works…
Tablets are pretty cheap..well.. Depends what kind you get. The cheapest are the bamboo ones, right? They're what.. $70-110? I know drawing is for fun and not for a portfolio..but imagine.. Imagine if you can draw even better than this, and imagine how much MOAR fun you can have, how does that sound!
Traditional skills might not necessary involve actual skills in every physical medium, but it does involve everything you'd learn from them like everyone said. Someone could learn all his traditional skills using only a tablet and a pc, but the pen and paper is quite more portable and gives you freedom to practice wherever.

Those are intous nibs, not sure if they are compatible with the graphire pens though. compusmart used to carry wacom nibs, not sure if they do anymore though. google their…
Hello! I'm new here and I'm a little bit shy :) I'm working on character in ZBrush, but I can't get any satisfactory results. I have only a half year experience, so You know guys :shifty: Two weeks ago I have invested in a Intuos 5 (my very first tablet) but I still can't improve my work. Any feedback would be appreciated!
