Inspired by DICEs GDC talk about the Battlefront Photogrammetry, I started digging through my old workfiles for my little Iphone-Photogrammetry project to see whats usable. Here is a capture I am pretty happy with of a very mossy tree stump... Hoping to pick this up again and finish it this time :P…

"some wired dirt as i increase the strange" I think you mean "some weird dirt as I increase the strength"? Photographs are going to be grainy, depending on the quality of the camera you're using. What camera did you use? You could try prefiltering the photos to remove noise. A better option would be to use photogrammetry…
Thanks.
Exactly. It was my goal to make something that looks like photogrammetry. We
have very realistic cockpit of F-14 in DCS. I guess it is 100% photogrammetry.
This cockpit was made by another company, so I can't just ask them how they
made it. I tried to do something similar to F-14. But F-14 looks much much much…
Here's a solution I've been using for working with photogrammetry meshes: 1. Store Morph target. 2. Move your mesh down and scale it to be pretty much flat. 3. You're right. It just seems that photogrammetry is becoming more and more common. So many studios are using it. A friend of mine who's been working in the industry for over 15 years now told me that it's becoming more common to use photogrammetry and assets/textures from places like Quixel or Polligon. Still need to know…
So with my setup, I have only 4 lights in what you call the photometric lighting. I have gotten decent results with this, though it isn't the best setup for substance multi angle node which works best with 8 lights. My total setup is the 4 directional lights and a frontal light source (I'm experimenting with more ATM to…
