Most of the major engines I've tinkered with support leaving them out in limbo. I move them back out of habit, like Eric pointed out you don't have to move em back if they where moved properly.
Thanks Eric. I've realised as long as I save my UVS and I can use the green lines as guides if I need to re pelt something. This model has taken me 11 days so far to unwrap.
Thanks Eric for the feedback! Yes, I'll be texturing the green lava. Froth might work too, but I'll keep that in mind. Varying the brightness/hue more on larger patterns could work, if it's what I'm thinking about, on the rock walls.
Thanks Eric. I've got a new monitor now and it's working fine again. Ran it like usual and it worked. No idea what happened. I guess DDO was having a bad month/ on holiday. Glad it's back. Cheers for the help though!
hey eric, you mean add alpha cards? or fur plugin? thomas, it's a new machine...hope that's not the case. it happens when i try to render... here's what i have so far w/o the sponge thingy:
Playing around as in, stabbing it with a screw driver while screaming "mowar FPS'z!"? Or he flipped some software settings around? Like Eric suggested, new drivers should fix it. http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
Bravo, Ror. Happy are we that you deigned to descend, however briefly, from Sarcastic Scot Mountain down among us mortals for a 'wee chat'. Seriously though, I was surprised and more than a little impressed by the trailer. Soundless scene scored by contrasting piano-type music may not be a new thing at all for movie…
Thank you very much for your reply! :) Yeah, you´re right. I think it might be easier to link my ArtStation Account ArtStation - Eric Overbeck Except the 3 old pieces for the game i worked waay back then, the rest is actually exactly what i wanted to use for the showreel. I use individual textures. I know how to use…
Thanks @birb, @JosephIV and @carvuliero for the great feedback, and thanks @Eric Chadwick for the kind words! I've learned a lot on this one thanks to you all. I attempted to use that newfound knowledge and apply it to my latest piece (below).
Thank you very much Eric! The issue was that I wasn't opening/loading a new project on DDO therefore I wasn't getting that License option to show up as it did for NDO. All is well now, thanks again!
