Going to continue my retrogasm entry here, as timing will not allow me to finish by deadline. Here is my current progress: What I am trying to go for is a final updated bipedal version of Shodan from the System Shock Series, also seeing this as a design challenge as well. Hello all, I'm fairly new to the 3D modeling scene. Got started for my new-year's resolution and am self-teaching in my spare time. I've got a ton of ideas and am slowly working my way up to try and be able to model them properly. My Profile Feel free to add me, just shoot me a message so I can add a nickname and tag you.…
Hi Everyone, I am attempting to model an oil barrel and making slow progress. I'm trying to make the hexagon shaped thing on the top, I've had a go at it and it looks kind of ok , but the geometry on the top of the barrel now looks messy. Is there a better / cleaner way of doing this ? Ref image : model:
I just came across this model viewer for FF X and X-3 3D assets. The character models are amazing and really worth taking a look at. If you want an instant education on the right way to make characters, check this out. You'll need the game discs to extract the models. http://www.yaz0r.net/ffxview.php
Loved Fable 2 :) remember this area from the game it was pretty cool. Not much to be critical of yet but, looks like you have some good ref images to start with, remember you can never have enough of them though.
