Btw, when considering this. keep in mind its not strictly Sci fi. For istance theres no Alcubierre drive and loosely technical speculation. It runs on crystals :) . The engine room pointed out in the refrerence image ive provided is literally just a pedestal on which the crystal sits.

obviously lex had a tiny sliver of crystal left, and he wrapped it with some sand and a bit of coconut and threw it in the ocean why didnt he just get a lil gold, wrap around the crystals and grow him some gold in some private hiddel lakes.

Hello, I finally got back to working on it. Decided to go with a rock instead of a crystal for a bunch of reasons: better contrast, makes more sense and I couldn't get the crystal to look right. I'm going to start working on the masks tomorrow (plus some fixing on the low poly model).
Just want to chime in on the crystals on the hands, would it have been possible to make the crystals pyramids in the low poly? That would have come out to 24 more tris added, I'm just not sure how tight the limit was for you. But if it looks good in-game thats all that matters :D
