Anyone know exactly how the "add height to normal map" button works? I can't seem to get it to do what it says on the tin... I'm assuming it means add height map detail, to current normal map?!

after my first effort took way too long, I decided to put myself under the gun and see how far I could get in a 8 or so hours... I'd call it a mediocre start...I think I'll give my self another day of revisions. What would you prioritize?

Hi, Since GTX 260 is not professional graphics card, which is recomended settings to use it with Maya? By settings i mean in Rivatuner, nvidia control panel or some other software. thanks
looks like orionflame was causing the problem. i uninstalled it and dds's work again. thanks for the email address eric, i talked to him and he's pretty surprised this is happening. i wonder if its only an issue with max 7. i remember polyboost breaking dds's too.
