High end laptops, no matter what brand, have shitty battery life. When they're claiming 5-6 hours, that's with a lot of features turned off and the cpu/gpu underclocked. A new item again :) this one was pretty fast because the detail would get lost anyway and the poly limit is pretty low. It's a concept for an old set I wanted to do for Razor, but I didn't liked most items except the arm concept I made. I'm not sure if you're referring to my last post or not, but those settings are extremely fast to render in Max 2010+. We use AO for all sorts of things, and anything lower than 300 samples starts to show artifacts which can affect the method of how the AO is used. I think that your main problem would be not understanding how the planes of the face go. As soon as you get it it becomes so much faster as there are certain landmarks that you can put down to get the correct shape fast. Also practice drawing heads.... it really really helps.… -
