There's nothing wrong with either of those methods from what I can see. They do the same thing so its what ever you prefer. Now as far as the actual code you're writing and what you're trying to accomplish? That can be improved upon but it of course takes time and experience. I'm still learning everyday. Probably cut a hemisphere into 4 pieces, making 2 modules. One piece that tiles around 3 times and one unique piece that contains the damage. ^max doesn't have an edit/object mode in the same way as Maya. Not exactly the same, but the outline/overlay on selection option does basically the same thing. Once you are in an "editing" mode, ie a subobject mode in editable poly or UV etc, the overlay/outline is disabled, so there is a clear visual indicator. I turn… -

no, but it costs more to FILM the 3d movies, as they require special cameras. Double the frames to edit and add special effects to, as 3d cameras film 2 pictures at one time. In the Hobbits case, they are filming at 48 frames a second. Thats already double the frames to edit in most movies. 3d, they need to edit 72 more…
