thanks guys Swizzle: thank you for the input . i`m planning on making the front part that goes over the eyes to be able to be clicked upwards . the idea behind it is that it enhances vision and is able to transfer a view from the vehicles point of view to the rider.
This is really pretty, love the front view. I think she looks a tad wonky from the side, the face is a bit long and her chest is comming out a bit to much. it almost feels like you stretched the model in the side view.
It depends on the game of course, but for a sight you'll zoom in real close to in a iron-sights view, 1000-2500 tris is pretty common. The rearmost area could stand to have some subtle bevels there, so its not so jagged in FPV view.
Hey Teddy, got a slight problem with the view cube in CS5. When NDo2 opens, the view cube appears in the middle of the screen, with a shadow of the cube off towards the right. Heres a screen grab. Im running dual displays, if thats relevant.
i have tried all of them.... I cant do view align because the position of object is not aligned with view. Actually I cant do any kind of align, not even with different parts selected! I NEED HELP ASAP!
I normally use the image plane of the front or side ortho view. You can make it viewable in all views. When you click on the image plan attributes you can adjust the Image Center to push and pull it across the axises.
I'm pretty impressed with how comfortably you sculpt in a 3D perspective view. Whenever I try to move vertices or edges in the 3D view they always end up 5000 units away. That faceted material trick is great and certainly helps.
You can test if the alpha works by viewing it in a web browser (don't use IE prior to version 6) - I should have made it clear that I meant any program capable of viewing PNG alpha, not any 3d package.
This is 2 days of work, and I think I am going to start the cage next. I am hoping to use only a 1024 sheet for the whole thing. Ref Sheet Front view Back view Please let me know how this looks so far, and I will update with the cage soon...:thumbup:
