Because... Look! A 3-headed monkey!
I think having Rey and Kylo half-siblings works well with the arc and themes they've got going so far. Rey could be Luke's kid and you'd still wind up with that setup, but it seems a smidgen on the nose.
I dunno. I'm not a StarWars guy. I'll leave the conspiracy…
Hey Everyone, I'm new to the boards. I wanted to share my animation demo reel with all of you. There is not much game work on this reel. I hope to get another reel cut together of my game works. Check out my Blog site also for some other goodies :) -D [ame=" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoiW8rr9Tr4"]Click Here To View…
I am a college student and I am creating a Star Wars animation for my project, my main focus is on the animation but also want to improve my modelling skills. I will be keeping a sort of blog on this thread and any feed back on any of the work would be greatly appreciated! I know its not at a pro standard and I just want…
Im not a particular fan of the design. It seems a mix of a Turret from Portal, and a mix of a Droid from Starwars, the droid with the spider legs n the bubble sheild. thing. I just dont understand the mechanics of the turret, let alone the overal design is not fluent. The particular balance seems off as well.. not to say…
The only BAD things about the 5200 are shaders and shadows. The FX 5200 supports DX9 shaders 2.0 and it is really shitty at handling them. So if you turn off shaders and shadows the card runs great. I ran StarWars galaxies at max detail fine as long as i had shaders turned off (didnt make the game look any different…
Maybe a laser pistol (got starwars on my mind now.. :) ) or another slightly more complicated object could be the next best step up for you. Right now you have some box modeling and cylindrical modeling going on which is a good start, and something like a pistol would help you on starting to bring those different forms…
I expected hologram video games by now. Similar to Starwars, when Chewy is playing chess with c3po For me, it's how we visualize the game, rather than what is on screen. That is, I wouldn't care if it's a bunch of cubes floating around in a hologram space (aka space invaders).. that'd still blow my mind. *Edit* Apparently…
Hey guys, new to the site as a member. My first posting here. I've been working on a Y-Wing from Starwars for sometime. Difficult to fit the time in (its always to the way isn't it). I've started the texturing, I will say now that this is old skool :poly108: No PBR render materials, No Mudbox, No Z-Brush. This is Maya…
Thanks guys for the replies. It sounds like I should find some more references that vary in design. Away from starwars. Lol.:icon60: I guess I kind of consider the "star wars look", as just a general sci-fi design. Perhaps not a lot of parts and pieces, grounding it back to reality, or that we could recognized on everyday…
Am I the only one who think the scene with the shark looks like crap ? I miss Animatronic geez :< My feeling toward this movie is just like the one toward StarWars VII, The fangirl inside me is so freaking hype it wants to roll on floor and cry of joy. But my brain tell me " Oh girl you're going to be so deceive and cry…
