Hi folks, So I have a character with a looping idle animation within Maya, but in Marmoset is doesn't loop. It does only seem to loop when i enlarge the timeline length with a big proportion, but the problem is that it will reach the end of the timeline anyway and from that point on wont combine with the beginning, so…
True but I added the support loops to try and get rid of the errors, I get the same results without the support loops. On the original model, the side table, I want to avoid adding support loops (on the legs and frame) as it will almost triple the vertex count.
An edge loop is a loop of edges - each vert has only 4 edges coming out from it, so the loop goes forward and there is an edge to the left and an edge to the right. This means you can start on one vert and follow a straight path along an edge, and end back at the starting point. Anywhere where you have less or more than 4…
Oh, yeah, if you're going to get that into ZBrush I'd say you're on the right track, those loops are definitely going to help. You might even wanna create a few additional loops on areas where polys are too big. You can do this easily with the Swift Loop tool, on the Graphite Modeling Tools > Edit panel. Just point where…
Hey guys thanks for the replies Here is my current workflow 1)Get final topology overall 2)Rig eyelids to see if have enough edge loops to close properly if not, using quad draw, add edge loops 3)Make a simple rig for the mouth as well to see if enough edge loops if not, using quad draw, add edge loops 4)Uv unwrap
Is there a script or function in maya that can do this? It's basically the space loop tools in MAX. Left: Selected edge loops Right: After applying Space this funtion of max: http://help.autodesk.com/view/3DSMAX/2015/ENU/?guid=GUID-C1D508AB-A3E5-4965-AAE3-4FA5EC48CA75 can't find this feature in maya, or I don't know the…
Anybody have an idea if Loop mode or Ring mode selection is possible in the Unwrap UVW modifier? Similar to the "PolyTools" "RingModeToggle" and "PolyTools" "LoopModeToggle"
Yes, 1300 tri's is too much, however you could easily cut that model down to 700 or so tri's. Remove an edge loop from his chest, 3 loops from the center of the face and you oly need a loop in the wrist and 2 in the elbow.
Selecting two edges, converting to loops, hitting connect, and then sliding the loop is really a pain. I thought it was pretty standard until I saw someone working in Maya and just being able to insert a loop with one click.. Polyboost has this feature, and it's absolutely awesome.
