Thank you. I don't really know how to draw with Gimp or PS or any other program like that. I have Photoshop Element 6 and a Wacom Bamboo tablet. I'll try to do a paint over of this.
Have you tried using lower button on your pen as right click and upper button as a mid click? I use tablet in maya as well, so I can tell its really comfortable and no extra scripts needed.
This is my digital artwork "A Moment of Peace" . I've been doing 3d modeling and animation for a long time. Now I have started learning digital art using my Huion Graphic tablet. Software used : Krita 4.2.6
All five elements without armor sets. Redid the hands as a I decided that they need to be able to at least open a mitten. Not sure how I'm going to texture them as I have no tablet currently. So just modeling for now.
No there is not on the video. Again our focus has been at our GDC booth for those that are able to make it we will have several games/demos working on an array of different tablets and engineers will be at workstations to show you the tools and workflows available in the engine.
this really depends, some ppl like them some dont. but if you set them up right, they really can be an improvement to your workflow! imo they work well in maya in combination with a tablet, if you can get used to it xD.
I think that is slowly becoming a thing of the past now that smaller studios are going under or transitioning to mobile/tablet/f2p stuff IMO. But I definitely agree that a larger studio/publisher offers some sort of security for periods of time.
Use the smudge tool sparingly. It's a inefficient way to learn blending in Photoshop. Use a tablet with pen pressure opacity to make those blends between hues and values. Don't make your cracks black. Make them a dark brown.
Hey, thanks for the feedback. We intend to ship for iOS and Android first. So that pretty much sums most android phones/tablets, iPhones and iPads. Later on we will try PSP vita and Steam. No promesses ;) Maybe windows phone.
@cagdasx44 As kite212 said, you can use RGB intensity to control the amount of color. The pressure sensitivity on your tablet is also pretty useful for blending colors. Here's a nice introduction to Polypaint: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3AZjD7fdqco
