Problems creating flowing sub-d shapes in 3ds max
Im currently working on a jet plane, and it has a lot of smooth flowing aerodynamic shapes. Long shot... Has anyone here created a banner on the 3DS?
By which I mean, the Nintendo 3DS. And by "banner", I mean that bit on the top screen that is usually a spinning logo or something of the sorts that you can speed up by blowing into the mic. Something like this? This is a mesh transformed into curves then filled and passed through a triangle tessellation group, all with Blender's geonodes. Corners are preserved in the conversion to curves by being marked with a Boolean x Point attribute so they get temporarily split. You may need to tweak the Corner Angle… -
