Eric, it worked now (and saved me a lot of time!). Never used the UVW Xform modifier before, I didn't even know what it was for. Pretty handy tool :) -

@Eric Chadwick Does Solidify do more than the free one that comes with Xnormal? Back when I had to manually dilate stuff, that's what I used. -

Thanks Eric. Yes, I tried to do a projection on a cylinder but the projection wouldn't grab the entire cage. I'll keep trying , maybe it will take some PS work to. -
