I started from a much lower resolution and built up. This is after many day of sculpting forms and dynameshing. I also did use proportional guides at the beginning.
As the thread title says, how should I start with this? I'm pretty new with 3D modeling and figured this wouldn't be too easy or too hard but I'm having a hard time figuring out how to start. Use a plane, cylinder, square, or?
These types of questions aren't really useful when starting out. Your manager/director should be communicating with you about your tasks/expectations and hopefully providing guidance.
