I love how It seems comic that the creature still cares to cover its privates. I also like the transition of the mouth from the skull to the chest. On the other hand, the monster doesn't seem to be realistically able maintain a balanced stance with the current proportions.
Thanks Monster, I have tried creating a new material for it, changing the map channel and breaking off/attaching each of the hair planes but it doesn't seem to sort out the problem. It only happens when I set the transparency to best which sucks.
I just noticed the thing about the Resume and Articles as well. I was going to suggest something, but I think I will wait (it seems that you're still working on the website). Maybe add a home page hyperlink on the "M" Monster to bring you back?
thx all:) i (don´t know how *G*) managed that i can´t delete key´s with the del-button.. so i hope i learn to use the rightklickmenu like monster suggested. easy and it does it´s job
it's not like there have been worthwhile retail games for the system in a while ;) unless you were into monster hunter, perhaps. very nice box for homebrew tho and my favourite to play emulated things on. mobiles just don't come with decent enough controls.
Not those crappy broken gasmasks though. Uncle Bourbon would not be pleased. SPOILER ALERT some call them monsters, I call them bitches /SPOILER oh god I love that guy. It's like travelling with a drunk russian Han Solo.
What was that leaf monster making app... Alchemy? It had symmetry of some kind if I remember correctly. Autodesks Sketchbook pro has symmetry also. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_enqb1K6KOI"]Symmetry in Sketchbook Pro 11 - YouTube[/ame]
Bump! Here are some sample images of monster concept art that will need to be turned into 3D models for opponents (true images are in a much bigger resolution): Firefly (Tier 1) ---> Serpent Fly (Tier 2) ---> Dragonfly (Tier 3) Firefly Serpentfly Dragonfly
The movements feel odd all around - floaty/mocapesque, even on the main guy ... For every zeebrush monster head, I cannot help but think that a real rubber mask would look a whole lot better. Cantina scene, I miss you...
Highest Point Monster assets for an indie mobile game called Highest Point. I worked on the hi-poly versions of these critters before sending it off to another artist for low poly optimisation. It was then passed back to me for texturing and final touch ups.
