Gav you sexist monster, what where you thinking. I'm ashamed to call you a fellow male! Now that's out of the way, how bout we go 1 inch punchin? *nudge nudge wink wink saynomore saynomore*
I've been trying to make an environment, but it's haunted. This art just started showing up. I did some screen grabs. These monsters. They've been haunting me at night. https://twitter.com/ChrisHoldenDev/status/239301980462395393/photo/1/large
tips to make it more dramatic. You can add plants outside the windows and let it move. Then add a light source while casting shadows from that plant. Maybi that can be in a form of a monster? Just an idea that came op in my head.
Thank you @monster I'll give this a shot today within my script and let you know how it goes. Funnily I did try tmGizmos.usegizmo = true/false but didn't know about redrawviews so assumed nothing was happening :/
@monster that alone doesn't do it justice. It now makes the chamfer results cleaner when more edges meet at the same point: In some cases (where then angle between the edges is sharper), it results in even more reduced bevel amount though:
Hey monster, thanks for sharing the script! But I don't get how does it work. When I select my model and press Detach Skin it creates a copy of the mesh but it's still one-piece model. Combine Skin works perfect.
sorry for the bump but I wanted to post the solution in case someone else stumble into this. It turned out monster was right. I thought I had the last sp pack installed but I didn't, installing the latest service pack fixed the issue :)
Ha! make sense, thanks monster! :) And yea, I get what you mean now StereoVinny! even though that wasn't my original intention, but it sure does come in handy when I need it in the future! Also WELCOME TO POLYCOUNT! :)
Hey there guys, this is a work in progress of my latest uni assignment. We have to create essentially a monster in Zbrush which is derived from a modern day animal. Here is mine, please give me some feedback I am looking to improve this as much as possible before hand in. Which is in a few weeks.
I've just started using Sculptris (or sculpting in general), and I'm beginning to get a hang of the controls (my artistic ability is another matter entirely). I'm making a monster/demon/thing with 8 horns, and I don't exactly get how to make them nice and smooth with sharp points on the ends.
