Mass fx warning 3ds max

Anybody got this issue when opening a file from someone else using the same version of max ?

. "The MassFX authored in this file was created with a newer version of the plugins. Forward compatibility is not supported, so things might not behave properly".

If so, how to fix it on the computer that is creating this. Resaving the file on a different computer seems to remove the warning but I'd like to fix this issue once for all.

The other user probably has the most recent Service Pack installed. Can you verify that you do as well?

I really doubt that as the file were converted from previous max version using a fresh install of max 2014. So far my best bet is tat it has something to do with the physx driver but i'll still check the service pack just in case

Merging the "corrupted scene " inside a fresh scene also fix the issue, so Maybe there's someting stored inside the globals variables or somewhere else

A default install of Max will automatically download and install the latest service pack. I see this message quite often with my students when we go over MassFX (since none of them ever update anything). Getting that service pack always fixes the problem.

I think you may continue seeing this message if any physics objects are updated on the new machine.

sorry for the bump but I wanted to post the solution in case someone else stumble into this.

It turned out monster was right. I thought I had the last sp pack installed but I didn't, installing the latest service pack fixed the issue
