hmmm...if you are talking about his junk, he is in a jump suit . I figured he would have a bit of room in those pants for "things" to relax and not be bunched up in one place. maybe its jut me...you might be right
That's what I've heard too so I'm trying to look for more "international" companies! Like I've mentionned above polygon pictures and Digital frontier seem to be more on the the relaxed side of things but I just want to get as many options as possible.
His axe UVs were not relaxed correctly. I had a try at his model before this thread was opened, and the parts having artifacts are reversed or flipped in the UV space. When I remade the UVs of the axe from scratch problems were gone.
Well...judging by the high-poly, there is major warping going on. You shouldn't mess too much with your UV's...just leave them as the are unwrapped, maybe relax them a little, that's it. The warping is caused by your pulling your UV's around post unwrap.
I think you gave too much UV space to your wood pillars, and the UVs are still not efficient enough. Too much waste. Try some relax on your UVs island to put them all at the same pixel ratio/aspect.

The upper arm (deltoid bicept tricept) Need work, as does the forearm, calves, ankles and foot shapes. Daz 3d should help as a reference: You can change the figure volume.
The UVWs have quite a bit of room available for use. It's generally a better idea to place UVs right next to each other. Sometimes rotating them a bit or using some Tetris logic to fit them as tightly as possible is required. For the UVWs, the scale should never be rectangles. It should always be perfect squares. The way…
