OK this isn't my blog. But I was at an animation festival a few months ago and was on spotlight duty. To glorify it up I liked to call it "Guardian of the Light". Freaky right? When it comes to Lara, I'll never forget the T-Rex from level 4. I screamed so loud my parents thought I was being murdered. -

these are amazing! My only crit would be that ducky? (the little green one) and the t rex have really repetitive noise patterns. Specially when it comes to the body. IMO i would try to add some variation in there so you can break up the body noise. But thts just me nit picking stuff. Overall great body of work! -

It's in part a promo for our Walking with Dinosaurs show from when it was over in Japan last. I think the clip is part of a Candid Camera typed show though, so they might have actually been scaring the hell out of at least some of those people. Need help with mirrored normals for UDK
Sorry for posting about this twice (as I've just posted about it on my WIP thread) but here it goes. As you can see I'm having an issue with normal mapping my symmetrical T-Rex. Yeah I've seen this kickstarter and I've had my eye on it for some time now. Im quite tempted to back it as I've still got a few days before the deadline. Looking at the videos I can imagine springing a trap on T-Rex quite fulfilling. Plus hes raised enough to get a full time designer to polish what he has. -

Eh, pretty much exactly what I expected. The last shot of the robot coming out of the pool was spielberg-esque... reminds me of the T-rex drinking from the pool in The Lost World.
