SSDs have really come down in price, something like this would be ideal and not kill your bank account: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA29P1EC5222&cm_re=samsung_ssd-_-20-147-248-_-Product Or even http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA2W01AZ5378&cm_re=samsung_ssd-_-20-147-247-_-Product if…
@ Racer445 - I did a couple from there - the Geiger 167 and the KT Tunstall one. Are you in any? :D Zipfinator / PurplePaint - nice, will definitely check those out. :D The KT Tunstall one I'm working on right now is pretty challenging, it says it was recorded to a click track, but the last half is half a beat out of time…
A terrorist is anyone who advocates terror. If I saw 136 cruise missiles coming at my country I would be terrified! Lets just say US is in the middle east to help out the people without any gain. After the past events (Iraq/Iran/Afghanistan) of throwing money into a bottomless well is it really a good idea to go help…
The minolta 50mm 1.7 is the first lens you should buy, you can pick up a used copy for $75-100 on ebay. This lens is sharp from about F2-5.6 or so whereas teh kit zoom is sharp from about F5.6-F8 or so, which in use means you can use the 50mm in a wide variety of lighting conditions. Its so cheap that it just makes a lot…

Great, that's good news. Currently I just redid the ID map and re-imported it into Quixel which did solve it. I'll look forward to 1.7 getting finalized so I can try it out. Had some issues with custom painted masks getting overridden when re-importing maps but not sure what really causes it, haven't had the time to check…
Hey Cactus! Nice work - might be worth looking back at pages 133 onwards, there were a few pages of barrels posted- and some nice ref too. http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41232&highlight=barrel&page=133 You're 90% there, the only thing that stands out (apart from the mentioned nails being nailed to nothing)…
Sorry I was late. I was struggling for texturing. I actually must tell this first. I changed my reference or "ideal goal" for my texturing https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/59835/?tab=3&selected_game=130&navtag=http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/ajax/modimages/?id=59835&user=1&gid=130 This is what I want to copy as…
I get what your saying that in 8bit color representation there is no true 90°, and 90° is directly in between the distinct 8 bit values thus even the smallest deviation would have the value round down. Pardon my ignorance, wouldn't it be the other way around ie: signed is -127 to 127 (255 values) versus unsigned 0 to 255…
