It was a huge surprise today to everyone in the office, soooo excited to be featured by something so maintstream! So awesome that the gaming community has places like this to feature the mainstream and the…
WOW WOW, calm down mate :D Quite a bit of a misunderstanding goin' on here I see :D I simply don't want to bake maps. That simple. That is it really. Nothing else crosses my mind :D Of course my portfolio got NOTHING to do with the RTS game I want to. In fact I simply use a 3-point lighting with an Environment probe for…
Peter Stammbach's youtube channel has pretty good Modo tutorials and easy to digest for beginners. I've been a Modo user since version 302. Personally, pure sub-d modelling is more suitable if you're doing product renders. Traditional poly modelling has a lower learning curve, and more efficient for game modelling (plus…
Hey @spacefrog can you re-upload this script? The d/l link is dead. I was just testing out some of the fancy viewport features like bloom, SSAO, etc. and it'd be nice to be able to save out some animations with it. The vanilla Make Preview tool ignores custom viewport settings, unfortunately. Also would be great to save…
right now I'm playing a Zabrack soldier named Oth An'kar in Star Wars Saga Edition, an ex mercenary who's working with the rebels after the Empire wiped his whole squad out. Before that I was a Bothan rogue-tech who would stow away on ships and make a living doing odd jobs at space ports. One of the party members works at…
High poly is done, still a few smoothing issues here and there but I think they're minor enough to sculpt out. Fewer roadblocks than I expected, the prop art courses I did definitely paid off in terms of improving my sub-D modeling skills.

the mutant chronicles! yeah! :D From what i remember the first part is really awesome. I picked it up after seeing a trailer and was excited to see John malkovich, but that did not last long. Most movies have big chunks on youtube, this one has only a trailer, I wanted to show some of the movie cause like you mentioned,…
Love both ideas :D i can't wait to see more pictures of your work, it's time for Mundo to have a new skin and this two are amazing ideas :D by the way i'm new in polycount too and i will participate too on the contest, can u tell me how do you post your pictures so that they can be showed big? like u have yours posted…
Yeah, both red and blue parts do exactly the same. They just blend 2 different shapes together (Red = A+B), (Blue = C+D). And (Green = Red + Blue) with different random masks here and there to give it the random feel. I can't really use the same node as I'm using different shapes as Inputs (A,B,C and D are all different…
