the amount of AAA titles i play is very few and the amount of titles i finish per year can probably be counted on one finger that said... i play a fair amount of indie games that seem better suited to our/my generation... shorter more interesting and varied and more fun less stress.
How to find those studios that give freelance work? Are they any specific studios that do this, or even mid-AAA studios also give freelance projects? I want to find these studios, because my only experience will be from working freelance, because my country 3D/VFX or even gaming, is non-existent
You need to take the advice and understand its probably coming from good intentions. As an artist you'll need to be able to take that constructive criticism. I'ts no different in AAA game development. We routinely pull up anatomy references, and tweak and change models based on feedback. It's the only way you can improve!
"Flash support is available to full source, commercial UE3 licensees." Strange move, its not like AAA games translate well to flash. Would have been something that UDK iOS and indie games benefit a lot from. I also really doubt anyone paying full license just to make a webgame.
Seriously Badass bodywork man :) The face still lets it down for me, it's the cartoony'ness. The rest is so awesome, good enough to be in any realistic AAA game. I know you've called it, so by all means leave it for a while, but take alook again later with fresh eyes. Either way Great work :D
