Worked on another weapon for the Gravastar game, in-development by Studio Atma. It's a bit cleaner compared to the other weapon. I think I'll just have another weapon to work on, and that's it. Speaking of which, without wanting to go too much OT here, what's the average poly count for a weapon on this gen's games? Like Crysis and UT3? (On screen weapons, not level items or enemies weapons) Just asking, cos damn, 11k sounds alot to me!
Since this weapon would be gold plated, and not made of gold (considering gold is too soft to be a feasible lethal weapon) it could be really cool to see the plating degraded or flaked off along where the blade has been sharpened and in combat. This would give the weapon a lot of character.
vehicle choice could drastic change a weapons effectiveness, ie single shot powerfull weapon would be shit in a car with hard suspension. while a really powerfull weapon in a small light vehicle could have some really rockin kickback. sounds fun if it was propperly dynamic

That has to be the most uncomfortable handle I have ever seen on a weapon, especially with how big the weapon is. And I'm not seeing "Assault Rifle", I'm seeing BFG or some plasma-bio-dark-energy-shooting heavy weapon. I also agree with the other points made in this topic, up the poly count.
