The main fibers can be relatively easily done with spline modelling, but in the interconnecting areas it would be nice with less fidgeting in doing branchy structures. Doing an art test for a local studio and have to model an old keg with a 1.5k poly limit, 2k textures, and the cork at the top had to be new. Still working on it and was wondering if anybody would be able to critique what I've done so far. First art test and am honestly extremely nervous.

Yeah, we're debating about the UPack method and getting a box. The downside is I'm moving out a month before my fiance and she's nervous about having to pack it up herself. BAE is a contractor for military stuff. They posted on the job forums a bit ago.
