I like zombies - it was so hard to find good zombie stuff in the 80's and 90's, don't take this away from me. Have I just not noticed that there's a flood of sports games on the market? Seems like every major sport gets 1 or 2 games devoted if it's lucky.
first off when I open this thread I thought your reference was your final render! and was like, cool stuff! I really like those 80s concepts, they have that bold / minimal feeling. hope you pull out something cool here, good work so far!!
nice texture work on the desk and other props so far, looks great. I would suggest at least roughing in the wall and floor texture so you can create objects with a similar color pallete so everything jives nicely, since walls and floor are usually 80% of the screen space.
HP PSC 2110. Cost me like...$80 at Target? Nothing fancy, but it can copy, print and scan. I can print 8x5 pics that looks really crisp, which is good enough for me. Though I'm not sure if they still sell this particular model. Bought it like 2yrs ago.
download fest is looking equally weak... with some awesome slots, and some awesomely bad ones. as much as i love motley crue, def leopard etc... keep them in the 80s. when i go to donnington, i go to get drunk and start moshpits. not sing at the top of my voice.
Thanks guys, this will ultimately save me $80 not getting Ultimate and going with Home Premium. However I do have one final question, can I still use my old 32 bit programs (like Photoshop, Maya, etc) on a 64 bit machine without any problems?
When you look at the model in a perspective view, make sure that the virtual 'camera' you're looking through has a real world fov. I'd suggest 80 or even 90 degrees - that way you'll see it as a photographer would and your model should be able to match your refs a lot easier.
yeah just the basic shapes you used. i have quite bit of succes with the hair so far, but I didn't do a very good style. its looks a bit 80's and I made a mess of the fringe I would love to show it too, but its nda also.grrr
im not reasding al this because im a bit tired, but i know there's a students vershion of 3dsmax you can pick up for about £80 i belive it doesnt even have watermarks, but ovcorse i have the ful vershion and im sure you all know about downloading stuff..
(Photos courtesy of Gemini) The PitchI'm a solo dev building Iron Wake, a 1v1 hard sci-fi capital ship combat game in Godot 4.x. The core gameplay loop, UI, and Newtonian physics are already coded in and playable using programmer-art greyboxes. I need a hard surface artist to step in and replace those greyboxes so I can…
