Hello everyone, my name is Joshua. I'm looking for some dedicated and serious minded artists for a project of passion and future endeavors To go ahead and get this out of the way, I don't mind paying for your time. Either by a flat fee, or by profit sharing. However, this project isn't meant to be a quick money grab, it is…
but it won't increase also the ring deepness? I do not want the rings to increse their level ... doing that seems to do not effect , I usually use the overlay rather than multiply but same no effect...
Probably want to model the bird with the wings out, and then bring them in after rigging and skinning. Trick will be to make sure your axis are lined up right so that they fold up nice and smooth. Your weighting and edge loops will also have to be solid to allow for all the deformation.
Hey guys, I'm trying to rig a bow in 3ds max to bring into udk but I'm having trouble figuring out how I should set it up. In the image below I made some bones and an IK solver but it does not bend realisticly like a bow. any ideas?
I'm not sure I understand the question - do you need general information about how rigs are laid out, or specific data about orientation of bones? When rigging a character generally the bone orientation will be X along the bone, and then you'd keep Y or Z common along the limbs. As I recall Biped in 3ds max has the Z axis…
Hi! I'm new to Unreal and currently trying to gather all the info I can about it before start. What's the basic workflow to get a rig going in Unreal? Can we import our own rigs from a DCC into Unreal? I know there are things to consider, like corrective blend shapes do not read. What extension do we use? I've heard of…
Is it posible to make a good looking forarm rigg with only joints and weigthing. Making the forarm rotate 90deg´s is no problem im just having a real problem when it comes to 90+deg´s. Is ther a good tutorial for this? Hope my question makes sens =) Thanks!
@Jaston3D I was planning to do it through shaders. Wanted to create a bunch of alpha masks for the background, the rings and the text and use some panners and rotators to animate the text and rings. Maybe I'll start with it tomorrow to see how that worls
Thanks alot guys, i'll see if i can upload a video of it when i can. For the wings i actually made a rig about a year and a half ago using a modifed biped, which turned out pretty good for the flying animation. So if i could recreate that in my own setup using IK that'd be great.
in your case i would use connect tool instead. Ctrl + left click for multiCut will create a loop, but it will go through the entire edge ring that goes around instead of the specified edge rings.
