Did a cloth study from a basemesh. Changed up the proportions, did a face sketch. The idea was tight, thin cloth, and it was fun. I might turn this into something, not sure.
Hey all! So today is the start of the summer character workshop i'm hosting. I've encouraged the other guys to make their own threads and as/when they do i'll edit this post to contain their links. Please critique them and me as much as you can. Joe…
UPDATE: I did some work on the legs to make them look a bit more anatomical. I also made the cloth folds more pronounced. And then i worked a bit on the arm and the hands. But the palm still looks a bit odd, nevertheless definitely better than before Will work on the cloth folds on the kimono next.
Doesn't Marvelous need a support mesh to add structure for the cloth? Maybe the idea is creating the main shape, importing it into Marvelous and then doing the cloth simulation...
this is awesome. I love the wood. har! the red cloth on the cape could use the same dirtying up as the red cloth on the weapon. Otherwise this is amazeballs.
Working on the suit. Decided not to use MD for the suit portion it's so skin tight it wasn't producing the results I wanted in the cloth sim. Will be using it for the scarf and the clothing on the right in the concept.
looks really awesome! Very smooth shading. I feel like the arms feels like cloth instead of rubber(unless cloth was your intention). But its a minor nitpick.
