On the other hand, Avatar's aliens do know about good acting, and you can certainly not replicate anything even near their expressive range with silicone masks or even just makeup. And Chewbacca is not a lead actor in SW, doesn't really get to do much...
Hi Roxxor! A big, big thank you once again for tons of knowledge. You indeed wrote a book here! I will save all this in my notes so I won’t lose it or forget it. I have disappeared because, in the meantime, I received a “test assignment” for an “unpaid internship.” Not sure what it will turn out to be, but I already tried…
Hello everyone, I am Miki and I have been creating 3D animations with Blender for 2.5 years now. Before that, I worked in the photo and video industry for 2 years. I currently also work as a freelance 3D artist and occasionally get commissions. After a while, I realized that my strength is definitely in modeling. I find it…
So this morning after my coffee I made my mug, it's my 1st time replicating an object and 2nd time trying Painter! I'm quite the beginner so any tips are welcome! I also have a little Issue Here with Painter if anyone wants to help a bit more! Real : 3D :
Thanks man for the kind words! I tried to replicate 3 different golden materials, that should be more akin to brass, meanwhile on the armor is "fire gilding" most of the time. But thanks for the heads up, I'll do my best to improve!

Thought the title said Sith Infiltrator and I got excited. :D Even just learning the tools can benefit from having reference. Gives you something to figure out how you could replicate using the tools
Understood. If you can replicate what's happening with a new project, that will work as well. Let me know when you're available and free for 30 minutes to an hour, either by private message on Facebook or via private message here on Polycount.
Those metal shelving that can be seen at either end of the basement side with the stairs... they look like they are the same shelving unit, and so in theory could be replicated meshes, but they also look a lot different in sizes. Is this just a perspective issue on the concept?
replicant, maybe try starting your own thread. And try asking nicely. Also, Arshlevon is from LA and knows a lot about Zbrush and I'm sure he would love to get together and rap 3d and that would be sweet.
