What do you mean by trimsheets? Beveling the edges (from one segment to two) will introduce shading gradients on planar surfaces, unless you use face-weighted normals (and that will mean more work).
Sketched out the exterior a bit more. Not completely sold on the design yet so I have a lot more iterations to do. Added some more cameras for the exterior. Started a basic trimsheet going on but it still needs a lot more work. Currently the water is the starter content water in UE4, I plan on changing that but much more…
A few improvements since last time, mainly on texturing side. I've begin to create an other trimsheet which is more based on metallic parts. I also created some material like a cinder block wall or a dirty ground. I've made a shader which allow me to blend by vertex color between two material and this create a depth…
@musashidan Thanks for response. Appreciated. I have barley looked at that approach, but I didn't particularly like it at first glance. But I should probably look better into it then. I was contemplating just doing the trimsheet from Ndo first, then adding it in with my lowpoly in SP and then adding normal details in…
Yeah you have some great work here MsMarvel! Deff digging the light on the outside. I think the pipes are purple because they havent been unwrapped or textured.I am sure they will be textured soon. Trimsheets!
Greetings fellow peoples, I'm looking for feedback on this small scene I made. Main objectives are getting better at realistic texture making using trimsheets, good topology in general and/or for modular asset usage for it to be more towards engine-ready. Link to project; https://www.artstation.com/artwork/4XAaA8 Thanks in…
hi , it's about a week i swiched from 3dsmax to maya 2018 and i'm absolutely happy but i have few problems and i try to solve step by step. maya 2018 have good uv toolkit and i'm realy exited but there is something i realy need and don't know how to do that . making uv straight for using trimsheet. i search youtube and…
Cheers. This info is really useful and I'm going to practice this on different types of curved geo based on the example you've given me. Currently in the middle of a university deadline so I'll have to put it on pause but this should help me out massively when I get back into it! I'm trying to crack down on trimsheets,…
I've been working on a trim sheet in designer just to start getting some materials and modular pieces together. Here's what I have so far. It's rough and nothing is final, but it's nice to get some color on pieces and have something to work with while I keep ideating and creating pieces for the kit. I look forward to…
This is one of the more solid piece of work I've seen on PC! Great job on the lighting, its nice to see some one else doing Autumn scenes! If can, and have time I would love to see a small section break down of your building. I know it is made up of tileable textures and trimsheets, but I am noticing the brick and stucco…
