This works since 2.90 (August 31, 2020; just checked on linux) so you are using 2.8 LTS (released June 3, 2020) ?? (So it's already superseded by another LTS version .. 2.93 LTS (June 2nd, 2021) and now 3.3 LTS (September 7, 2022) .. )
i have changed match from by mesh name to always-does not work I am using 3ds max 2022 I have tried to export high poly model in OBJ format-did not work as expected. I have attached screenshot and 3 files. Thanks for responding )

Okay, so ZBrush 2022 it is then (with one last year of free updates?), which is more than fine for me. Luckily Pixologic added the cloth simulation brushes and tools etc., so I can still play around with those for free then, hehe. Thank god not forcing us to subscription only.
I have 2 version of maya installed on my pc. maya 2022 and maya 2018. I need to use maya 2018 for something. I can't see export/import options panel on maya 2018.
for simple box like shapes with straight lines you can also just use the planar brush, or bevel flat or bevel arc brush, there was another one i just forgot. also 2022 has bevel pro or something? i havent used it yet https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uvPmEqD4nY
