You guys should stop taking this stuff so seriously. One funny post on the frontpage isn't bringing down Polycount's quality. It is just a reminder that this community is friendly and relaxed.
I would select the top of each little square , grow up to the base and detach then relax those and put apart, then box map the rest and weld the junction in a cross forming shape .
I agree. You're getting some good set up and I feel like the composition is really strong and plays up a relaxed power in the character. Good job so far.
So damn cool. The snow looks fantastic, as do the day shots. I know what you mean about lighting and atmosphere stuff being relaxing - and your results are ace!
Here is an update. I think it looks a bit more natural now, but a bit less like the concept as well, probably do to the relaxed mouth. Topo is a bit messy, will change that next.
^^^! Ive been listening to that station for the last 3 days Something calming and awesome is ALWAYS playing when a program crashes i don't even care i feel to relaxed to rage
You could also apply a UVW Mapping modifier and set it to Face (each quad gets a planar UV), then add a UVW Unwrap modifier and relax the UVs (to un-stretch the UVs).
