Convert all your images to JPG, I hate PNGs (they take forever to load!!) The favela environment looks pretty good, but living in the biggest brazilian city (Sao Paulo) I've seen a couple of favelas in my life and i got some critics for environment (not sure if you are going to work on it more though) - Dumpsters don't…
My reply is a amalgam of stuff that's already been said, really. No matter what price you've put on this work, he's paid you for the time to make it, plus the rights and permissions for it. So, unless you've stated before the contract has been started (I'm guessing you didn't), all the work that he's paid you - or for the…
Hello Poly counters , I am working on a model with a multi-tile uv , i imported it to z brush , but when i try to make a displacement map it is like baked on top of each other ( when you use " morph uv " button ) . PS. the problem could be avoided by using UV master , but it will generate a single tile map not a…
Say I model pigtails with a unique tapering. I make the mask growth the root on the pigtail model, have super long fibers, BUT. Have the fibers grow inside the interior of the mesh and follow the inner outline of the mesh? As it when a fiber hits the edge, it will bend down. Would this be possible with z project? Because…
One thing I found helpful is to sculpt the basic forms with the Clay brush, then use Trim Dynamic to get that hard-chipped rock kind of look, then for fine detail use a custom alpha made with the Photoshop clouds filter and a negative Z intensity. That way it creates semi-random small pits. If I sculpt that in a new layer,…
Starting over is how we improve, you'll have to start over this head from scratch probably 50 or so times before it starts looking really good. Instead of using real life reference I'd simplify things, the planes of the face.…
Try exiting edit mode, clearing the document, and then doublecheck your RGB and Z intensity values. Make sure they are both at 100 before redrawing the tool and entering edit mode. Anything less than 100 and you wont be able to edit the tool. If you were using projection master prior to this, it's possible that the values…
Did you zremesh your mesh or did you just do dynamesh divisions? If you z-remeshed and want to keep the polygonal flow you could duplicate the subtool, jack up the dynamesh resolution, merge with the hands and then go to subtool->project and project that detail back from the other mesh. Should give you pretty close…
You need to create a set of uv's for you z-remeshed model so that it can transfer the 3d information from you higpoly to a 2d texture map. You can make these inside of Zbrush using uv master, or in another modeling package like Maya or 3dsMax. Look here for some basics:…
