Hello everyone! I'm working on Rick Grimes likeness, from season 8. Still a work in progress, aaand that's what I have so far I'm also struggling with the likeness (I'll post something as soon as I'll have a decent resoult), and of course C&C are very appreciated! :p
thanks for the replys, the two textures above are rendered in max but they should look pretty much the same in the doom3/quake4 engine and with the lighting I just used 1 target spotlight. im not too sure about the second one either I like the colours but I think maybe they take up too much space, its hard for me to tell…
The diffuse and spec color are the default values. Shouldnt it be rendered exactly like the texture? Also the mean is not low, so I dont understand why its so dark in CE. I played with the settings and found that increasing the glow amount gives a desirable effect, but Im not satisfied. I dont want to use the glow amount…
This looks awesome! I would say, put this in your portfolio and call it done. Move on to the next piece! It would be nice to see a wireframe or two, and some stats about triangle count and total texture usage (pixel resolutions, and the number of textures, as well as which kinds of textures... pbr or not). Also noticed the…
Hey there everyone! My name is Marcel and I'm currently learning a 3D workflow to create game-ready characters. Never really sculpted before, so I'm following different tutorials online. The workflow I want to try out, since I have all the programs required available is sculpting in zBrush, retopo in Blender and texturing…
Hm, ok, I see what you two are saying. The wheels are a bit wide - that was a conscious choice based off of some reference. A lot of the reference I could find had thicker tires - and though it contradicted the blueprints, I thought, "why not?!" As for the rest of it being too thin- well, it matches up with the…
I can see three major problems with the construction of the back. I am commenting on the left side of the back specifically as it appears to be the more correct of the two sides. 1. The long head of the triceps/clavicular portion of the deltoid. The long head of the triceps originates from the scapula. From my…
Woah! Totally ace! I agree with everyone on the feet. As far as the comments on the suit... bah... i'm on the fence. There's two sides to this. One is the comic side of me, the other is the world functionality. The comic side of me says that it's like yelling at Peter Parker and asking him why his suit doesn't look like…
I like it a lot so far, and agreed while nomad is cool it doesn’t work for me in a practical sense since the brushes seem to lack the sculpting subtleties I’m used to in zbrush. Hard to explain without going way too far in depth here, but simply brushes work almost exactly the same in zbrush for iPad as desktop version.…
