Good job on the model. Some minor technical crits first. Single tears don't come out of the inner corner of the eye unless the person is laying down or had their head tilted. They pool along the bottom eyelid and then run down out of the center of the eye (or the sides if the person is looking up). This is why mascara…
I think one set of concepts you need to understand is composition, and in particular the concept of focal points. Focal points are parts in the painting, model, or anything designed, that attract the attention. These points guide the viewers eye, and in videogames they have the added function of telling the player where to…
Hey, My name is Peter and I am looking for people interested in joining my new project! The game is a 3D Survival Action Horror Game, Kind of like Amnesia and/or Outlast. Although I intend for it to be a horror/thriller game, I want to give it a cartoony or a low poly look to attract a younger target audience. I will not…
Hi! I posted this question in Technical Talk as well, but thought I'd up the odds of responses by dropping it in here too. We are currently in need of highly experienced texture artists who can work with us in their free time on 'pay on…
I would say this is a normal but bad habit for some artists. Usually, we tends to be very excited to see an amazing artwork and start to make it as fast as possible. The problem with that, is we get bored really fast, since the current workflow is going through some process before getting the final result. As a natural…
Here are two paintings I did today, completely from my imagination. This is my own version of how I think Kat should have looked in the game.Decently dressed, polite, humble and always positive despite her troubled past. Here, her clothes look dull and washed out with a hood in order not to attract attention to herself. Her bag…
I think you are worrying too much about the modularity in the stonework. It will look weird if the wall is built up on the exact same axis with every rock. Rotate, scale and offset the rocks as you build up. That will fix everything. It WILL look weird right now with the block out because its all basic shapes. You can…
